Is the universe a friendly place?

Albert Einstein

The answer defines how one stands in front of a situation, and as such our lives.

It is like the choice to see “the glass is half full or half empty”.

If one decides the world is a friendly place, or the glass half full, one is said to be optimistic. It means everything at one's disposal is more likely to be used for improving ones' understanding of motives and inner workings to define a direction.

If one decides the world is an unfriendly place, or the glass half empty, one is said to be pessimistic. It means everything at one's disposal is more likely to be used for isolating and destroying.

If one decides it is neither the one or the other, standing on the middle ground or indecisive, one is said to choose to be a victim.

Plenty has been tinkered and written on this most fascinating subject. But in the end, whether we like it or not, we are made up at least of all three waltzing through every second of our lives.
